- British Columbia
British Columbia's Progress of Bills page is rendered entirely in the browser by JavaScript.
- Alberta
Alberta's bill status page is a JavaScript form that fetches its results after the page loads, so the server sends no bill data.
- Saskatchewan
Saskatchewan publishes its progress of bills as a per-session PDF rather than a web page with structured markup, and the links to those PDFs change with every session.
- Newfoundland and Labrador
The Newfoundland and Labrador House of Assembly site blocks automated requests, and — more seriously — it answers requests for pages that do not exist with a success code and an error page.
- Prince Edward Island
Prince Edward Island publishes bills only behind a search form — there is no page that simply lists them — and the site runs bot management that rejects automated requests inconsistently.
- Yukon
The Yukon Legislative Assembly site is protected by a challenge that only a full browser can pass.
Provincial bill data is not comparable to the federal bill data elsewhere on Canadash. Federal bills come from an API that publishes every stage, every recorded division and every member's ballot. Provincial bills are read from each legislature's own web page, and each page publishes a different subset — some give a date for every stage, some give no dates at all, some name the sponsor and some do not. No province publishes votes or attendance in any machine-readable form, so there are no provincial voting records here and no provincial equivalent of the participation or party-discipline figures shown for MPs.
About this data
Membership, party and contact information comes from the Represent API maintained by Open North, which mirrors each legislature's official member directory and publishes the corresponding provincial electoral district boundaries used on the map above. Premiers are maintained manually. Unlike the federal House of Commons, no province or territory currently publishes an open API for votes, attendance or sponsored bills — those records exist only in each assembly's Hansard and journals, so they are not shown here.
